Network Health Assessment
What Is It?
The Pittsburgh
Network Health Assessment (NHA) is an objective review of an
organization’s technology infrastructure. The NHA outlines
the current condition of 14 key areas:
- Network Servers
- Back-Up
- Anti-Virus
- Infrastructure,
Security & Power Supply
- Network Management,
Maintenance & Monitoring
The NHA provides
prioritized recommendations for each technology subset on how
to maintain or improve performance over time. The goal is to
provide a roadmap that any IT professional can follow to enhance
organizational performance through the use of technology.
Why is the Pittsburgh
NHA important?
The NHA is important
for any organization dependant on technology because it gives
your company a third-party snapshot of how your IT is performing
and what, if anything, needs to be done to minimize business
risk and ensure long-term productivity. Many organizations take
an ad-hoc approach to their technology infrastructure which leads
to inefficiency and waste, but it can be avoided with proper
analysis and planning. The NHA also provides your organization
with full documentation of your network infrastructure, a valuable
business risk minimization tool.
Who needs the Pittsburgh
NHA?
The NHA is meant
for any company looking for third-party documentation from which
to plan for the future, minimize business risk, leverage today’s
best practices, and evaluate the most efficient ways to run their
technology.
What is the deliverable?
A Pittsburgh
Engineer will work onsite to gather data and information about
your current infrastructure and establish desired business results
from your technology solution. After the data and information
gathering is complete, our team will write a detailed report
documenting every component of your network with assessments,
recommendations, and diagrams. Finally, we’ll present our
findings to you in person to discuss how to address areas of
concern.
